Maintenance dashboard

The dashboard gives an overview of maintenance activity for a selected day: where work orders stand, which equipment is unavailable and how the workload is spread across technicians.

It is calculated from the events actually recorded in MatxFlow, and lets you drill down from the overall view to the list of tickets and equipment concerned.

Ticket indicators

IndicatorWhat is counted
QualifiedTickets currently qualified, whatever the selected date.
ScheduledTickets scheduled for the selected date.
In progressWork orders currently under way.
CompletedWork orders completed by the technician on the selected date, awaiting validation.
ClosedTickets closed on the selected date.

For completed and closed tickets, the dashboard does not rely on the current status alone: it uses the work order history to determine the day the work was completed or the ticket was closed.

Equipment downtime

Equipment currently down

The number of pieces of equipment affected by an ongoing downtime. A machine is only counted once, even if its history contains several downtime events. For each one, the dashboard shows the equipment, the related ticket and its number, the start time of the downtime, its reason and its status.

Equipment returned to service

Equipment whose downtime ended on the selected day, with the start and end of the downtime, the time of the return to service and the reason for the downtime.

Technician workload

For each technician, the dashboard shows the total number of work orders assigned to them, the number completed on the selected date and the list of their work orders. Technicians are ranked from the busiest to the least busy.

A work order is counted as completed when its end date matches the selected date and it is completed or closed.

Schedule

The schedule view shows the work orders that have a scheduled date and a technician, organized by technician and by date. It can be filtered by date, technician and status. These filters do not change the other dashboard indicators.

Understanding the selected date

The date does not mean the same thing for every indicator:

  • Scheduled tickets: the planned date of the work order;
  • Completed tickets: the date the work order was completed;
  • Closed tickets: the closure date;
  • Returns to service: the date the equipment was returned to service.

The same dashboard therefore shows both what is planned and what has actually been done.

The questions it answers

  • How many work orders are scheduled today, and how many are in progress?
  • How many have been completed?
  • Which equipment is down, and which has been returned to service?
  • How are work orders distributed across technicians?

This information then serves as the basis for performance indicators and maintenance analysis.
