Dynamic forms

Build forms that fit your maintenance operations and the information actually needed in the field.

Forms tailored to each type of work

Not every work order needs the same information. MatxFlow lets you build forms that match your working methods, your equipment and the different types of work.

Each form can be organized clearly, so that technicians only see the information they need while they work.

Organizing information

Information can be grouped into sections that follow the logic of the work.

For example, you can separate general information, checks carried out, measurements, observations, and the items needed to close the work order.

Available field types

A form can use different field types depending on the information to collect.

  • Text for free-form information or an observation.
  • Number for a measurement or a numeric value.
  • Choice to select one value among several options.
  • Date and time to record when an event or a measurement occurred.
  • Image to document a situation or a defect visually.
  • File to attach a document to the work order.
  • Signature to validate a work order or a step in the process.

Forms that adapt to the answers

Forms can be configured to show certain information only when it is needed.

For example, a question can reveal additional fields when a defect is detected. If the situation does not apply to the current work order, those fields stay hidden.

The goal

Never ask technicians to fill in information that does not apply to their work.

Designed for field work

A maintenance form should help technicians, not slow them down.

Information can therefore follow the actual flow of the operation: observe, check, measure, act, document and then validate.

Fitting the form to the way you work

Dynamic forms let you change the information you collect without forcing the same path on every work order.

The goal remains simple: collect the right information at the right time, without adding needless complexity to the technician's work.
