Connecting to an ERP

MatxFlow can exchange maintenance data with an ERP when the ERP provides suitable interfaces. This page describes the data involved and how an exchange is prepared.

Division of roles

The ERP remains the company's management system. MatxFlow handles the day-to-day running of maintenance: requests, work orders, technicians, equipment downtime. An exchange between the two avoids entering the same information twice.

The exact list and the direction of each exchange (from the ERP to MatxFlow or the other way) are defined case by case.

Conditions

There is no standard connection that works for every ERP. The exchange depends on the interfaces your ERP provides, such as an API or exchange files. When development is needed, it is reviewed with your IT team before any work starts.

Without an integration

Excel export and import, available on the relevant screens, already let you move data from one system to the other.
