Exchanging data between MatxFlow and your tools.
What is available in MatxFlow (Excel), what depends on the interfaces of your systems (ERP, internal applications) and what requires a specific review.
Excel export and import from the screens.
Screens that provide for it have an Export button. Some also have an Import button, to load a file prepared outside MatxFlow.
Export
The file contains the data of the screen it was launched from. It can be used for reporting, for analysis in Excel or a tool such as Power BI, or to share data with another team.
Import
Available on some screens only. The file must follow the expected columns, headings and formats.
Export, then re-import
An exported file can be completed in Excel and re-imported, as long as its structure is not changed.
ERP and internal applications: depending on the interfaces available.
MatxFlow does not replace your ERP: it covers the day-to-day running of maintenance. Exchanging data with an ERP or an internal application is possible when that system provides suitable interfaces, such as an API.
With an ERP
Equipment, part references, work orders, maintenance information and statuses.
With an internal application
Equipment synchronization, forwarding of maintenance requests, return of work order statuses.
What the exchange depends on
The interfaces provided by the system concerned, the data format and the direction of the exchange.
A review before any development.
There is no standard connection that works for every ERP. When an exchange requires development, we review it with your IT team before setting the scope.

Which information moves from one system to the other, and which system is the reference for each item.
Direction and frequency
One-way or two-way, continuous or at regular intervals.
Connection method
API, exchange files or another mechanism, depending on what your system allows.
